Dan wears many hats as one of the directors of Syers McGill. From running the business and dealing with clients hands-on, he loves to problem-solve and get stuck in. Surprising fact about Dan? He was born in Milan!
Michaela McGill
Director/Owner
With over 30 years of experience in accounting, Michaela leads the personal tax and sole trader side of the business. Outside work, you’ll likely find her in a pilates or spin class.
Dave Syers

Dave joined the practice in 2024 after being a professional footballer in a previous life and spends his time advising clients and supporting the team.
Gabby Warr
Accountant
Gabby keeps busy with accounts, bookkeeping and VAT returns – and chatting with her lovely colleagues. Fun fact: she was an extra in the 4th Harry Potter film! If she wasn’t in accounting, you’d probably find her behind DJ decks instead.
Liam Carr
Accountant
Liam handles Limited Company accounts, VAT returns and tax returns, all with a smile. When he’s not working with different clients, he enjoys playing or watching darts.
Neil Dean

By day, Neil enjoys helping clients understand their businesses so they can make smart, informed decisions. Outside of work, he’s been known to bust out all the dance moves to Tragedy by Steps…

McGuire Larner

McGuire joined as a trainee in 2022 and is currently working across payroll, VAT, accounts preparation and assisting clients with queries. He can solve a Rubik’s Cube in under one minute!
Tom McGill

Tom is one of our brilliant trainees, gaining experience in bookkeeping, payroll, and accounts preparation. As a teenager, he was in a rock band.
